Fulbrighters of the World: Sarah Winton

Aug 14, 2019

I spent the last year completing a Fulbright research grant to Jordan to study the decision-making process behind remittances.

I applied for Fulbright because it's the only program of its kind that enables individuals to conduct research abroad.

This past year has given me the opportunity to research remittances sent to Jordan by Jordanian expatriates as well as to intern at UNHCR to work on assessing the welfare of Syrian refugees in Jordan.

Fulbright has given me the tools and experiences needed for my coming job at Harvard as well as a lifetime career in economic development.

Sarah Winton (2017/2018 Student Researcher)
